Storytime with Auntie Titania

SHARING STORIES IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF GROWING UP. WE LEARN ALL SORTS OF THINGS THROUGH STORIES; ABOUT THE WORLD WE LIVE IN, ABOUT THE ADVENTURE WE COULD HAVE AND ABOUT HOW EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.

Titania Trust (known as international songstress and entertainer) will host accessible story time sessions, suitable for children aged 3 and up. Sometimes puppetry, magic and song is used to bring the stories to life.

Stories featured include award-winning children’s books and published works that explore the themes of friendship, identity and acceptance.

There has been a recent trend which started in New York for ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’ which has received a lot of news coverage and feedback from both sides.

The face behind Titania Trust is an actor, writer, youth theatre practitioner and teacher who has 17 years working with children, young people and their parents – including leading story sessions and workshops in libraries. DBS checked, flexible and approachable. Titania Trust is a caring, thoughtful and friendly character who will grace your library or event with enthusiasm and warmth!

Auntie Titania is based in Norwich, Norfolk and can travel anywhere to deliver a memorable storytime with a difference!

Its was a very daunting experience, where a small number of people decided they didn’t like the idea of oneself entertaining and engaging little ones in a library.
